Brief project conceptionThe project conforms to the priorities of development of higher education in the Republic of Belarus defined in the state programme “Education and Youth Policy” for 2016 – 2020.
Participation of the Programme Countries’ partners in the project will allow understanding more clearly the essence of Bologna Process, which will contribute to updating ECTS-based curricula. Cooperation with higher education institutions of the Programme Countries will promote development of contemporary professional competences of Belarusian teachers allowing for foreign experts’ recommendations, which will let them be competitive not only in Belarus but also in the European Union countries. The teaching staff of 5 HEIs will attend internships, develop new study courses, methods and tools of education, test e-courses and introduce them to educational process, which will enable these HEIs’ students to gain innovative competences corresponding to the labour market demands in IT field.
Short list of the project activities to be implementedinternships of Belarusian HEIs’ teaching staff to improve their professional and educational competences;
doing subject research and conducting discussions for each Belarusian partner university on the analysis of IT specialist competences;
developing course requirements for the curricula in order to upgrade them in accordance with IT specialist profile;
upgrading the curricula and their experimental introduction to the partner HEIs’ educational process;
conducting study workshops for each Belarusian member HEI;
study visits of Belarusian partners to the EU universities;
project dissemination and exploitation events.
